Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst who is passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis. This role is crucial for optimizing our decision-making processes by providing well-structured data and valuable insights. We are open to offering this as a fractional role, as long the candidate is able to commit once projects are confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Utilize softwares like R and Python for data analysis (e.g., clustering, regressions) and visualization.
  • Analyze data from social media and surveys to extract meaningful insights.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science).
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis using R and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience in analyzing social media data and survey data.
  • Familiarity with working with large corpus datasets and text analysis techniques is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
